An extremely rare map of Santa Barbara in 1929. This is dated to 1928 0r 1929 given that the detached breakwater was completed in 1928 with an extension to shore constructed in 1930. The map shows double-line streets with block number labeling, place names, street names, tracts, and the like. It also advertised Hope Ranch which was created and developed by H.G. Chase's son in 1925 and on.
