The map shows triangulations and numerous coastal places, harbors, ports, bays, and major rivers. The Venetian discovery of Labrador is celebrated with the inscription 'Scoperta da Antonio Zeno N. Veneto nel 1390' within the Canadian landmass. An ornate cartouche is on the upper left, covering much of North America.
