DESCRIPTION

Chocolate Map of The World Game of Goose, 1928 Talmone-Unica
Decorative large chromo-lithographed game of goose showing a map of the world, surrounded by four portraits representing inhabitants of different parts of the orbit, and logos with names of products of the chocolate firm Talmone-Unica, who issued this map as an advertisement.

Printed in 1928 under Fascist Italy.

Talmone-Unica was a chocolate and cacao factory founded by Michele Talmone in Torino in 1850. Since the beginning of the 20th century, the firm was known for its modern advertisements in forms of art-nouveau posters, tin boxes, and other printed media. Printed one year before the firm's seat was transferred to France, leaving the Torino chocolate market to the Venchi-Unica company.
