In this article, the world would discover the man who would soon be the most famous aviator-explorer of the era: Richard E. Byrd. Filled with detailed explorers' routes.

On the very lower-right, the map shows the location of the Titanic sinking. On the inset map on the lower-left it shows the flights of the U.S. Navy planes or the McMillan Arctic Expedition.
