Each chart has detailed depth soundings, wash rocks, submerged rocky shoreline features, other dangers, coastal vegetation and topographic features depicted. Notes for the marinere on each harbor are given. Harbor of Mendocino City shows the city, a railroad line and the Rio Grande. Crescent City Harbor shows some settlement buildings along the shoreline. Shelter Cove shows and indian village and some topographic features.
