The map shows the Rhone River on the west to Nice, Avignon, San Tropez, Cannes, Orange, Villeneuve, Marseille, Remolin, and others. A highly figurative title cartouche adorns the map, this one with 40 coats-of-arms, along with a mileage scale and the legend explanation of the map's symbols. The map has a second title along the top margin; "Le Comte et Gouvernement de Provence".
